qb rotation

kc

trent green 1 qt. todd collins(vet) till half.
johathan quinn 3qt and marc dunn mop up(I cannot even find this guy on the roster)

green bay

farve 10-15 plays doug pederson till half.
greig nall and akilli smith will split 2nd half

interesting that smith will play last.

both teams are soild on 2nd team offence

here is where I found the diff.

while green bay has two rookies on the 2nd team it looks solid

on the kc defence the 2nd team only list 5 players with 2 of them being starters on 1 st team as backups.

also the 2nd team mlb has no 1st team player listed

what you will see on the feild after the 1st team def is done is a bunch of rookies and free agents thrown together just to elv them.

green bays offence should have a feild day against this.

add the fact that (vet)akilli smith will be playing the 4 th qt at qb.

green bay will be missing 2 starting wr but that will not matter much as the vet 2nd team wr would only be seeing 10-15 more plays

good luck

I still think that GB will win su.

4th String KC QB is David Priestley. Marc Dunn was cut 2 Months ago when they signed Priestley out of NFLE.
Also, here is KC 2nd String D
DE- Stills (Vet)
DE- Truluck (Vet)
DT- Ransom (Vet)
DT- Downing (Vet)
OLB- Caver (Vet)
OLB- Atkins (Vet)
MLB- Beisel (Vet)
CB- McLeon (Vet)
CB- Harris (Vet)
S- Finley(Vet)
S- Harts (Vet)
You've got to get to 3rd string D before you get to the Rookies and FA's.
No opinion on game, Good luck on your pick.

I follow the Chiefs and read every News article about them. Starting MLB is Mazlowski. The guy who'll probably win the back-up MLB spot is Rookie Mitchell, but he's out tomorrow night. NFL.com is often outdated on individual teams. Official team websites and Local Newspapers have the best info.
That NFL.com depth chart looks like it was from mid season last year. Doesn't even have Ryan Sims listed at starting DT, doesn't have OLB Shawn Barber, still has Mazlowski on the outside, doesn't list Vonnie Holliday, dfoesn't list any Rookies. Definitely bad info from there.

The Depth chart on kcchiefs.com is the accurtate one. NFL.com just hasn't updated from mid 2002. I'm also a fan of making $$$, and NEVER let my rooting affect my betting, which is why I'm passing on the game tommorrow, and only bet The Chiefs when the situation or #'s favors them. I do think having Akilli Smith as the 4th Quarter QB, vs the Chiefs 4th Quarter D is a big advantage for GB tommorrow. Good luck.

I can't speak for all the NFL.com depth charts, but the one for the Chiefs was definitely from mid season last year, and has NOT been updated to the beginning of camp.
Some of the Chief 2nd stringers on D have played quite a bit. Here's the rundown. Stills was their Pass Rush DE LY, battling to keep that spot from Truluck and Rookie Wilkerson. Good edge rusher as are the other 2. Downing has been a 2 year regular, Ransom has been a regular, now a back-up, fighting for roster spot.
OLB Caver played some with Philly 2 years ago as a Rookie 2nd rounder, hasn't played much since but is very fast and seems to have rediscovered what made him a high draft choice. Beisel has only played specials, Atkins converted from safety LY, hasn't played much OLB, in battle for roster, McLeon is an established vet, had 8 ints for Rams a few years ago, battling with Bartee to start, Harris can't play a lick, Finley is unknown, battling for spot, only played specials, Harts started 2nd half of last year, good player.
Line movement is likely due to Friday's Vermiel switch announcement that Priest Holmes will start, as well as GB's 2 starting WR's out.

panther - I just replied in drunkguy's thread. Having been in Wisky this past weekend, I believe the line move is due to the Packers injuries. But, I don't think they are relevant because those guys would not have been playing much anyway, even if they could play. They will be missing Driver and Ferguson, but it looks like Walker is playing real well, as well as Ford and Karstan Bailey.

I'm not making an opinion on this game but I don't feel the line movement is justified. I guess one other reason could be the Chiefs have had more physical practices so far and I watched their offense rip apart the Vikings defense in a scrimmage this past week. Meanwhile, because the Packers have had so many injuries, Sherman has taken off the pads in many practices and held back on the more physical play.

Good luck.

Just saw an interview with Mike Sherman, he said Favre and Pederson will split the first quarter, with Nall and Smith splitting the rest of the game. They really want to get a decent look at these two because GB will need to cut one of them.
As far as practice time, GB has had very little contact because of injuries and illness. Even their intrasquad scrimmage was no contact. Many rookies and free agent pickups will see early action to keep more starters from getting banged up. Too many new faces seeing their first playing time together.
I don't know enough about KC to make a prediction, but my money wouldn't be on GB.

Panther, check out
www.footballinsider.com
The drop down menus give a lot of team and depth data - and they tend to be very accurate and up to date (although they don't show all 80 players, they do show the relevant 65 or so) - they're very well laid out and simple to understand. I hope this can help!

Good luck!

Good luck
